About Bunkology

The aim of this project is to understand the wild world of woo. There is a culture flourishing online at the intersection of conspiracy theories, New Age ‘philosophy’, Ufology, fringe science and general weirdness. I call it woo-woo, or just woo.

This blog is a record of my attempts to understand its significance for those who are part of it. It may be helpful to read from the beginning, as my ambition is to build up a language and set of ideas with which to approach it. I’ll try to cross-reference the posts, but I hope there is something of a progression.
