Disclosure

-verb

1. The revelation by the Powers that Be of the truths that they have hidden from the populace.

2. In the context of Ufology, the long sought admission of governments that they have been/are in contact with Aliens. This is the goal of the Disclosure Movement. [see the Disclosure Project]

Ickian

-adjective

from David Icke

1. The kind of woo in between the Jonesian and the Wilcockian levels.

2. The narrative stream of woo that identifies the Powers that Be as extraterrestrial or weirder (demonic, extradimensional, etc).

3. The Powers that Be are masterminding all of human culture, from building the pyramids to NASA and the secret space program. Their reach is considerably more pervasive than in the Jonesian narrative.

4. Usually, Ickian narratives incorporate a robust Jonesian element, but go one step more woo.

Jonesian

-adjective

1. The basic kind of woo.

2. At this narrative level, The Powers that Be are identified as the Global Elites. These are more or less the traditional figureheads of authority: government, the very wealthy, royalty, etc.

3. The Powers that Be are understood to be manipulating the media, economy, academy, politics and police.

4. They’re coming for your freedom, and they’re coming for your guns.

Levels of Woo

-noun phrase (pl)

1. A taxonomy of woo.

2. There are three overlapping kinds of woo, the Jonesian, the Ickian and the Wilcockian. Very roughly, the Jonesian level of narrative is political, the Ickian level is (extra)terrestrial, and the Wilcockian is metaphysical.

3. These three levels overlap and interact, blurring into each other. Different woo-woos will relate them differently, and emphasize their importance differently.

The Principle of Disinformation [PoD]:

A principle of woo-woo, which effectively functions to promote narrative diversity. It can be formulated as such:

A lot of woo is disinformation, specific attempts by the Powers that Be to mix truth with lies to dilute true woo.

The Principle of Inverse Authority [PoIA]:

A principle of woo-woo which functions to insulate woo narratives from outside, expert narratives like scientific debunkers. It can be formulated as such:

The more Authority (as defined by the cultural mainstream) a source of information has, the less likely it is to be true.

1. A generic term for the force that secretly controls our world.

2. Depending the variety of woo, may be used interchangeably with the Illuminati, the Global Elites, the Masons, the Reptilians, etc.

Wilcockian

-adjective

from David Wilcock

1. The woo-wooiest kind of woo.

2. The kind of woo that identifies The Powers that Be as from another dimension of reality, totally transcending our reality.

3. The Powers that Be aren’t just manipulating our culture, they are actually generating our experience of reality.

4. Let’s get metaphysical.

Woo

1. Materials produced by the woo-woo subculture.

Woo-Woo

- noun

1. A counter-culture at the intersection of conspiracy theorists, Ufo buffs, New Agers, fringe science fans and general weridos.

2. A generic term for poorly substantiated beliefs.
